Ghost Nurses

Nurses on night shift like to tell ghost stories in the wee
morning hours.

The longer we practice in the medical field, the more amazing
the story. Sometimes opportunities arise to share these
experiences, assuming all the right variables are in place,
like sleeping patients, work that can be done at a later time,
and just the need to chat and share.

Last night was one such night.

We all had survived a traumatic week of Obstetric emergencies.
Thankfully, no one died.

But as we were debriefing from our mutual experiences, I could
not help but think that nurses suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress,
right up there with war survivors, policemen, firemen, crisis workers,
social workers and teachers.

Then one of my co-workers described an unusual scene.

Years before, she worked in an old wing of a hospital, dating
back to the early 1900’s. The floors creaked. The odors were
reminiscent of years and years of accumulated history.

A strange oddity kept repeating itself. My friend would go to do
a patient assessment and the patient would say: “Oh, a nurse was
just in and did all of that.”
(Blood pressure, taking temperature, listening to lung sounds, etc.)

Finally, my friend asked her patients to describe the nurse who had just
performed duties that in a normal scenario’s, should have been done by
my friend.

The description was always the same.

She was older, wore a white nursing dress, white shoes, white hose,
and the dead giveaway: a white nursing cap.

Nurses don’t wear those anymore.

Finally, the nurses took this story to their nursing supervisor
who confided what everyone already knew: The nurse in question–the
one with the nursing cap who busily did patient care before any
living nurse on the floor—was a ghost!

My friend further said that she decided to thank this nurse for all of
her hard work for the good of everyone there.

Then one night, my friend felt a strong gut urge to go immediately
into a patient room, who was gasping for breath. All heroic measures
to save her were in vain.

She died of a pulmonary emboli.

But at least she did not die alone.

My friend said she knew the old nurse was the one who alerted her
to this dire circumstance.

Again, she thanked her for her vigilance and diligent service.

The old nurse could be viewed as a ghost, or an angel, or a
powerful guide for the unseen realms of existence.

Yet as she did her work, she made herself visible to those she chose
to serve. And when the nurses consciously thanked her for her work,
she alerted them to dire and critical patient-care emergencies.

Nurses often feel abandoned when they have to face critical life
threatening patient situations.

A good example are the nurses who have 20-30 years of experience
and work with doctors who lack experience but refuse to acknowledge
the great work of the nurse, who actually saves a life, and the doctor
takes the credit for it.

Rarely have I seen a physician give credit to the amazing skill of
the nurse who assesses the patient hour by hour by the bedside.

When we call at 3 am, for any reason, we often are blown off for
over reacting.

But it’s really between us and the angels, the unseen forces and
God, anyway. We don’t do what we do to get short-lived approval, but
for the heroic grace that accompanies good work and service.

And many of us may continue to visit the patient at the bedside
and administer care long after we leave this physical life.

That is truly the most amazing feat of all!

Nurses, Petition Your Angels For Help

Nurses are a group that are notorious for refusing help, and
refusing to ask for help.

They are a group that face trauma on a regular basis, who
suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, and who do not get
help for this condition.

Perhaps we do not think anyone really can help.

But I know who we can turn to get the help we need every
day: We can call on The Company Of Angels every day, if not
every moment of every day to receive the help we deserve.

But first, we must really believe we do deserve this help!

But act as if you deserve, and soon you will feel the deserving
you need to feel in order to receive this loving, healing energy.

17 Ways to Call Angelic Help:

1) Mentally send ther angels out ahead of you to clear the
path for auspicious experiences

2) Ask for the help you need without needing to know the outcome

3) Ask–then let it go

4) Imagine your angels as your very best friends

5) Keep an open mind–the help you receive may not look like what
you think

6) Ask to be inspired to take enlightened action after you have
asked for help

7) Imagine the channels of communication between you and your angels
as open and free

8) Ask to know the lessons you need to learn from your difficult life
situation

9) Sometimes the prayer “Please Help Me” can be enough

10) Be persistent in applying tools to clear past trauma, habits
that impede flow and negative thought patterns that deflate your
energy

11) Ask the angels to lead you to the spiritual tool to help in clearing
all your past and present traumas

12) Ask: to what degree am I willing to do my part to free myself of this
trauma and challenge? To what degree am I willing to give to the angels
my need to control outcome?

13) Close and open your day by petitioning the unseen angelic
forces for guidance and enlightened choices throughout the day and
night

14) Enlist the angels to proceed you in your day, to orchestrate every
detail, and to prepare the space for the benefit, blessings and well-being
of all the people you meet today

15) Take 1-3 days to be alone without cell phones, computers, TV, books
or radio. Be with the day. Feel the energy moment by moment. Concentrate
on living in the present moment.

Do a fruit fast, and drink plenty of pure water during this period of time.

Contemplate, meditate and breathe deeply and lovingly.

16)Ask the angels: to lead you to the spiritual practice that will clear you
of the resistance to the presence of the entire celestial realm

17) Express gratitude for all the help that the angels give you.

Gratitude for everything is the key to bringing more of the good into
your life, NOW.

Forgiving everyone and everything is the key to keeping
the flow of all good things moving in your life.

And accepting your part, taking 100% responsibility for everything
that happens, without finger pointing or blame, is the final key to
liberation.

Ask your angels to help you with this.

Next time, I will tell about a Hawaiian healing technique that clears
you of all past, present and future pain, by erasing all personal
and shared memories.

Until then, Aloha!

Service and Unconditional Giving Of Self

Service and Unconditional Giving Of Self

The backlash associated with The Secret seems to surround
the attitude that any material thing and any amount of money is
yours, as long as you are clear of the negative core-beliefs
that play over and over in your mind, thus preventing you
from achieving your wishes and dreams.

The objection has to do with the greed associated with getting
with out apparent regard to giving.

The Law of Attraction is much more than getting anything
you want. For example, decide what it is you really want, then
start giving what you want away. Whatever it is: just give it away.

And feel good the whole time you are in the act of doing so.

If negative beliefs arise such as “Who do you think you are?”

Or: “I can’t give something I don’t have,”

or: “My parents hoarded money and goods during the depression,
therefore I have learned there isn’t enough to go around,” then
make peace with these limiting beliefs and embrace them.

Decide where these judgements are coming from.

Are they coming from your Humanity (wounded ego) or your
Divinity (from a place of peace, love, joy and transcendence)?

Develop a sense of appreciation for what you perceive as
negative as well as the positive. It’s all good (God).

When you decide a certain belief is “wrong,” you are only etching the
belief deeper and deeper into your psyche.

By resisting and struggling against these beliefs, you are
giving them a certain power to run your life.

I recommend developing a spiritual tool box.

My box, forinstance, holds the following tools:

EFT (emotional freedom therapy)
Ho’oponopono (a Hawaiian clearing technique)
Kriya Yoga (as taught by Paramahansa Yogananda, Self-Realization
Fellowship)
Writing
Spiritual Recovery
Guardian Angel Therapy

I use these tools, sometimes every moment of every day.

Strength lies in surrounding your negative core beliefs
with a neutral charge. Learn the art of observation. As the limiting
thoughts arise, coming from a place of lack, learn to be
a witness, as opposed to being appalled by these thoughts and feelings.

Be willing to find all of yourself exactly where you
are, in the present moment. If you are in discord, choose to pull
from your spiritual tool box the instrument needed to get
you into a place of harmony, NOW.

Acknowledge the beliefs that cause you pain. By acknowledging them,
you can then transform them.

Accept and embrace these beliefs, and ask–Why did or do I need them?
Why am I attracted to one negative belief over another?

We are here on the planet at this time to reconnect with the Divine
at the same time that we love our humanity.

Balancing these two forces will bring harmony to our lives.

We are here to give–money, food, service, truth, love, joy,
and appreciation and much much more.

In the act of giving these higher vibrations, the vibrations
of the planet move away from anger, hate and war.

By consciously opening the heart center to receive and then to give
only joyful and loving vibrations, we have done a great service.

We haved saved ourselves.

We have saved the planet.

Empowering Nurses To Love Themselves

Empowering Nurses To Love Themselves

22 Keys To Self-Empowerment For Nurses

1) The Gift of life is found in the present moment, where the
choice to love, appreciate and expand in abundance and joy
is always available

2) Say “YES” to unseen forces such as angels, higher guides
and God/ess. Allow these forces to guide patient care, interactions
with doctors and other nurses, and most importantly, with
the relationship you have with yourself

3) Look in the mirror and say, “I love you, I value you, You
deserve the best!”

4) Transform one predominate negative thought and make major
shifts in your energy

5) Now transform another and then another negative thought to
one of joy and transcendence

6) Free yourself of fear, doubt and desperation and beneficial
outcomes are certain

7) Shift your energy from negative resistant vibrations to
positive, receptive vibrations

8) You can get what you want by knowing you don’t need it
to be happy. Send out the energy that you are willing to
wait for the goal you’ve always dreamed of

9) Focus your attention on all the great things in your life
and appreciate them all, one by one. Any residual feelings of
lack will dissipate.

10) Be patient in the Divine Timeline. Allow your major goal
to be: to live with optimism and trust, and all your desires
will be met.

Say to yourself: “I am letting go of lack and choose to see
only the value and blessings in my life from this moment on.”

Say to yourself: “I release urgency and live in trust. I know as
I let go of need, I attract all my desires to me.”

11) Seek a peaceful mind and heart, because this is where all
blessings flow.

The more conflict you experience in your thoughts and feelings,
the more discord you will attract to you

12) Get in balance by living in a continual flow of self-acceptance
and self-love

13) Make the decision to be in harmonic flow with the Universe
by choosing peace over conflict, trust over doubt, value over
judgement

14) Use your journal to release your negative thoughts. If feeling
depressed, write down what you are thinking and feeling, then
write down a more positive assumption. This will help you create
greater peace in your emotions

15) Know that the Higher Intelligence of all creation vibrates
and pulsates around you and everyone else at all times. Allign
your self with this all-powerful heartbeat, and synchronize it
with your own

16) As you synchronize yourself with All That Is and the Divine
Vibration, you will see clearly, act purely, and creativity will
flow into your total expression

18) Honor yourself, Honor all sentient Beings. Ground this respect
in a loving force for healing

19) The more you choose to respect others and release judgement, the
more you live in a compassionate vibration

20) Release competitive thoughts and see people in a different light.
See everyone–patients, doctors, co-workers, family, children and friends
as the blessing they deserve to be

21) The power of your own personal vibration has the power to transform
the planet.

Choose to magnetize your vibration with love and abundance, generosity
and inspired action

22) Choose the power of love to heal your life. Think love, feel love,
beam love in all your interactions and the Gift Of Life Is Yours.
